Fireworks season is coming

Fireworks season is coming
October 29, 2025

Here are our top tips to enjoy the festivities whilst keeping your pets happy and stress-free:

Create a safe space indoors

Whether it be their normal bed or creating a safe ‘den’ space, making sure that your pet has somewhere they feel secure can help them to cope with anxiety from fireworks.

Play soothing music

Find a soothing playlist or create your own. The background noise will help to disguise any small pops and bangs. You can also use your TV to create ambient background noise.

Provide them with reassurance

Overly fussing or stressed behaviour from you may make your dog more anxious. Try to stay calm and offer reassurance if your dog looks for comfort.

Use food or a distraction tool with enrichment toys

There are so many enrichment food toys available you can have great fun working through them all to find your dog’s favourite. From snuffle mats to lickimats, puzzle games and food stuffed toys enjoy working out your dog’s favourite and have it ready on standby should you need to distract them.
