Fresh from an exciting and successful day in London, ORIJEN ambassador Hayley Telling shares her experience and achievements at the London International Horse Show 2025.

“The London International Horse Show has always held a very special place in my heart. Over the years, I was lucky enough to compete there three times with my now-retired dog, Teal, in the Agility Stakes. Together, we shared some unforgettable moments: winning the jumping class in 2017, finishing runner-up in the agility final in 2018, and placing fourth there in his final year of competition in 2023.

So, returning to London in 2025—this time with Tse, and in the novice semi-final—felt incredibly emotional and exciting. It was my first major final in two years and Tse’s biggest event to date. I knew it would be a very different experience. Tse is much more environmentally sensitive than Teal, and on top of that, I now have a toddler to consider when travelling and competing. Life looks a little different these days—but the magic of London International Horse Show (formerly Olympia), especially so close to Christmas, remains unchanged.

We prepared as thoroughly as we could in the lead-up, focusing on confidence, consistency, and helping Tse feel supported in challenging environments. London was, as always, busy and intense, and Tse did find it difficult at times—but what mattered most was how hard he tried. He gave me absolutely everything he had.

I couldn’t be prouder to say that Tse delivered two clear rounds, finishing fourth overall and, incredibly, qualifying us for the Crufts 2026 final!

Crufts has been a huge part of my journey in the sport. Teal competed there in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022, winning the British Open twice, the ABC twice, placing runner-up in both singles and team events, and taking the overall championship title in 2019. It’s my favourite place to run—there’s nothing quite like it!

Now, earning the chance to step onto that iconic green carpet again with Tse feels very special. Watching him grow, develop confidence, and rise to the occasion reminds me why I love this sport so much. None of it would be possible without the right preparation, training, and nutrition behind us—and I’m hugely grateful to ORIJEN for their continued support.”
